I just had a stunning realization.
What on earth are the debates between Romney and Obama going to be like during the general election? Like, are they going to argue about anything? I guess they’ll just agree on everything and it’ll be a short program. Will they have to put movie trivia and NFL predictions in just to have some content?
Moderator: “Governor Romney, if elected, what will your policy on everything be?”
Romney: “Well Oprah, I really think Barack here is doing a swell job. As you can tell from my policy record and answers in these things during the GOP primary, I really wouldn’t change a darn tootin thing.”
Moderator: “President Obama, how do you feel about that answer? Are you concerned about Governor Romney’s plans to radically change the signature at the bottom of practically all of your policies?”
Obama: “You see Oprah, what I admire most about Mitt is his flip-flopping. It reminds me of myself when I was first elected president. If re-elected, I will make sure that everything I do is completely consistent with what Mitt would do if he were elected, just as I decided to do for Senator McCain when he lost four years ago.”
